On Friday, June 20, 2008, 58 of the 117 surviving members of the Class of 1958, Corning Northside High School, gathered at the Marconi Lodge on Corning's North Side to begin a weekend of celebration of their Fiftieth Reunion. With spouses and friends, the assembled crowd numbered 92 strong.

Smiles, laughter, and looks of surprised recognition were the general rule as we renewed friendships from many years ago. Arrangements made for the dinner by Barb (McClure) Blickensderfer, Suanne Smith, and others, augmented by the Marconi Lodge cash bar, kept things moving smoothly.

On Saturday evening, most of the class gathered for the second time to enjoy a sumptuous banquet at the Corning Radisson Inn on Denison Parkway. Classes reuniting at this banquet included 1938, 1943, 1948, 1953, 1958 (of course) and 1963, the final class to graduate from the old Northside High.
